Introducing Time4Sleep

Featured in top lifestyle magazines, including House Beautiful and GQ, Time4Sleep is a one-stop shop for beds, mattresses and bedroom furniture. Offering their own range of exclusive products, they provide everything shoppers need for a great night's sleep.

The challenge

Time4Sleep sought the help of its agency, Everything Digital, to optimise its email marketing strategy. The brand was looking to improve its email campaign performance, optimise its on-site experience, and increase overall conversions.

The solution

To begin improving Time4Sleep’s email marketing performance, Everything Digital recommended the brand switch from its previous email provider to Salesfire. This enabled the brand to harness Salesfire’s AI-powered email capabilities, along with our additional on-site solutions.

Optimising Time4Sleep’s email strategy

To allow Everything Digital to focus on the brand’s one-time email sends, Time4Sleep’s dedicated Salesfire Experience Manager took ownership of the brand’s automated email strategy. To maximise sales, we set up automated emails targeting shoppers at every stage of the customer lifecycle, including:

  • Welcome flow: Enticing new shoppers to purchase by delivering an exclusive discount code.
  • Browse and search abandonment campaigns: To re-engage shoppers who are showing interest in products.
  • Abandoned cart campaigns: To convert shoppers showing high buying intent.
  • Post-purchase transactional flow: To provide support to shoppers following their purchase and build buyer trust.

With Salesfire’s automated emails in place, Time4Sleep could effortlessly retarget its shoppers and nurture customer relationships. Everything Digital supported this strategy by building bespoke one-time email campaigns for the brand. Through these one-time sends, Everything Digital could reactively market to the brand’s shoppers, capitalising on current events and seasonality to drive additional revenue.

Enhancing email with data capture & SMS

Salesfire also set up data capture campaigns to support Time4Sleep’s email marketing strategy. With a small incentive offered at the right moment, shoppers were encouraged to share their email address and mobile number. By capturing this data effectively, Time4Sleep was able to expand the reach of its email campaigns and incorporate SMS sends into its retargeting flows.

Boosting shopper engagement with Recommendations

Salesfire’s AI-powered Recommendations were also set up for Time4Sleep, enabling the brand to display personalised product suggestions for each shopper on its website and in emails. These Recommendations were included in several of the brand’s one-time and automated email campaigns to make them even more engaging.

Results

Together, Salesfire and Everything Digital successfully enhanced the performance of Time4Sleep’s email marketing strategy. By combining Salesfire’s automated emails and SMS with one-time campaigns, the brand experienced:

  • 15% increase in overall conversion rate via email
  • 3.62% email click-through rate
  • 18.9% increase in email AOV
  • 35.24% open rate on abandoned cart emails
  • 12.58% conversion rate on abandoned cart SMS

Time4Sleep’s incentivised email and SMS data capture campaigns also saw a 7.38% conversion rate.
