Peter Nyssen is an award-winning flower bulb supplier and specialist. Originally a small family-run business, the company was founded in one of the Netherlands’ most renowned regions for flower bulb production.

 

Drawing on over 60 years of industry expertise, Peter Nyssen supplies to all types of customers from professional landscapers, home gardeners and hobbyists.

The challenge

Peter Nyssen was working closely with agency Proof3 to assist with elements of their digital marketing, such as SEO.

 

As they continued to optimise and grow their on-site strategy, they set out to improve personalisation and the product discovery experience.

The solution

Migrating over to the Salesfire platform was an easy transition, with the support of their dedicated success manager.

 

It was a smooth and straightforward process, requiring minimal development time. Once live, campaigns were significantly easier for the team to manage, giving the brand greater control and visibility across all marketing activity.

 

First up, Peter Nyssen implemented a data capture campaign to help grow their subscriber list, so that they could reach more customers through email, helping build a strong base for their marketing campaigns.

 

The next step was creating a series of well-considered welcome emails to introduce these new subscribers to their newsletter. This allowed them to build more personal relationships with their ever-growing customer base.

 

Their success manager then suggested putting segmentation in place and including Recommendations within email campaigns to ensure each send is relevant and personalised to each individual's specific needs.
