Introducing Cheeky

Launched in 2008, Cheeky Wipes (and Cheeky Pants) offer simple, reusable alternatives to typically one-use products. From baby wipes to period protection, the brand’s products are sustainably and ethically made, and help reduce waste sent to landfills.

 

The brand’s online store is powered by Bluepark.co.uk, a trusted eCommerce platform that combines robust functionality with exceptional UK-based support, making it an ideal solution for growing online businesses.

The challenge

Cheeky sought to encourage more people to shop sustainably and choose its reusable alternatives to disposable products. The brand had already set up Salesfire’s Search on its website, which was successfully driving conversions. However, Cheeky wanted to further boost its conversion rate and promote repeat sales.

The solution

Building on the success it was achieving with Salesfire’s Search, Cheeky chose to explore additional Salesfire solutions to drive increased sales.

 

Cheeky began by migrating from its previous email provider and setting up a series of automated emails with Salesfire. These were chosen to target shoppers across the entire customer lifecycle and included welcome, browse abandonment, search abandonment, cart abandonment and post-purchase recommendations flows.

 

Salesfire’s segments were used to automatically power these flows, identifying shoppers who met certain criteria and automatically enrolling them in the appropriate sequence. With these flows, Cheeky effortlessly delivered relevant content to its shoppers at the perfect moment in their buying journey. 

 

The brand then set up Salesfire’s AI-powered Recommendations, which seamlessly integrated onto Cheeky’s Bluepark site. This allowed Cheeky to display personalised product recommendations both on its website and in email campaigns. By including content based on the shopper’s real-time activity, the brand’s email flows became even more tailored to the individual, driving engagement.

Results

Using Salesfire’s Search, automated email flows, and Recommendations together, Cheeky successfully drove more conversions from its shoppers, resulting in:

 

  • 20% of total revenue influenced by Search
  • +16% increase in AOV on emails with Recommendations
  • 14.7% conversion rate from high-value abandoned order email campaign
