Since opening its first shop in 1924, Charles Clinkard has grown from a local legend into a footwear empire. The original Clinkard family has remained at the core of the business for generations, guiding it through the last nine decades and into the online marketplace.

Salesfire AI Connect powering Klaviyo

On a journey to enhance its shopper retargeting strategy, Charles Clinkard had already seen results using Salesfire’s SMS. However, the brand sought to take things one step further by upgrading its email strategy as well.

 

Managing Klaviyo in-house to send browse and cart abandonment flows, Charles Clinkard had become comfortable with the platform. The brand sought to keep this existing email setup while exploring ways to drive more revenue from it. Salesfire’s Klaviyo integration, AI Connect, was the solution. It used Salesfire’s AI-powered technology to identify visitors that would otherwise remain anonymous to Klaviyo. It then tracked these shoppers, identifying more abandonment events than Klaviyo alone.

 

This meant Charles Clinkard delivered 110% more abandonment emails to its shoppers with AI Connect than with Klaviyo alone. This resulted in the brand generating 95% more revenue from its email flows, all without changing its email provider.

Having already achieved some really positive results with Salesfire’s SMS, we were looking for other ways to incorporate their tech into our strategy. Email was the obvious answer, but we’d already invested time in building out our flows in Klaviyo.

 

When we discovered AI Connect, it seemed like the perfect solution. It’s allowed us to keep our existing Klaviyo setup, while helping us generate even more revenue from it. A win-win!
