Introducing, Detox Trading
Detox Trading is a family-run supplier of organic superfoods. Built on a passion for health and wellbeing, the online retailer aims to make quality, affordable superfoods easily accessible online.
With a business model driven by integrity, honesty and kindness, Detox Trading sought to grow its customer base while staying true to its core values.
The challenge
At the time of reaching out to Salesfire, Detox Training was using another email platform to send its retargeting flows.
A lack of dedicated support and limited platform capabilities meant Detox Trading only had basic retargeting flows set up with this provider. These were ineffective at driving conversions, as they lacked personalisation, which resulted in low engagement levels from shoppers.
Detox Trading was looking to optimise and expand its use of email retargeting flows to drive sales. However, the brand was conscious of overwhelming its shoppers and impacting the customer experience by sending too many emails.
The solution
On joining Salesfire, Detox Trading was assigned a dedicated Success Manager to guide its email strategy.
To set the brand’s email flows up for success, we recommended implementing data capture campaigns. These automatically displayed on-site at key moments in the shopper's journey to encourage marketing opt-ins and grow Detox Trading’s subscriber base. While their marketing list was growing, we also imported historical shopper data from the brand’s previous email provider into Salesfire.
Salesfire then crafted a personalised email domain warm-up plan for the brand. This improved Detox Trading’s sender reputation with email providers, increasing the likelihood of its emails landing in a shopper's inbox.
We then set up a series of automated email flows, enabling the brand to effectively retarget shoppers at every stage of the customer lifecycle. These included Welcome, Browse Abandonment, Abandoned Cart, Re-engagement and Post-purchase flows. Using a shopper’s real-time activity, Salesfire automatically triggered the relevant flow, enabling Detox Trading to send personalised emails effortlessly.
We also enhanced these flows with Salesfire AI, which identified anonymous shoppers on Detox Trading’s site that their previous provider couldn’t. Even if an existing shopper's latest session was anonymous, Salesfire could track their activity and enrol them in a relevant email flow, maximising the brand’s retargeting reach.
Results
Supported by its Success Manager, Detox Trading utilised Salesfire’s suite of solutions to improve its data capture strategy and email retargeting flows. Salesfire enabled the brand to deliver more personalised content at optimal moments in each shopper’s journey, resulting in:
- 73.97% increase in overall conversions
- 14% increase in overall AOV
In total, Salesfire’s email flows and campaigns influenced 49% of Detox Trading’s generated revenue.
